Sahaub Missaghi was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and attended at University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. Here he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies (with High Honours). Subsequently, he obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law in 2008.
Following his graduation from law school, Sahaub married his wife Katty, and they relocated to lovely Victoria, British Columbia to settle down. He completed his articles at a firm in downtown Victoria, and was called to the Bar in 2009. In 2011, Sahaub embarked on opening his own boutique law practice in personal injury law, primarily dealing with plaintiff victims of motor vehicle accident claims, slip and falls as well as assault and battery. Mr. Missaghi has experience dealing with such matters in both Provincial and Supreme Court.
An advantage Sahaub has over many lawyers practicing in personal injury law is his deep vested interest and aptitude in medicine. Sahaub’s older brother and younger sister are both specialized medical doctors and his wife is a pharmacist. Over the years, much of the dinner table talk for Sahaub has, therefore, revolved around medically related matters, which has useful bearing on personal injury practice.
Sahaub is also fluent in Farsi and conversant in Spanish. He is a member of the British Columbia Law Society in good standing and is a member of the following associations:
o Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia
o Canadian Bar Association
o Victoria Bar Association
When not practicing law, Sahaub’s most avid interest is in soccer, which he used to play at a competitive level, and which he continues to play for fun.
